You need not be a member of Heritage Church in order to partake of the supper, but a member in good standing of an evangelical church.

The Heritage Monthly Fellowship Meal will follow this morning’s service. Meal preparedness will be announced once setup has been accomplished (approximately 30 minutes). Visitors in our service this morning are invited to stay to share this fellowship meal with us. After the meal, all who are able to stay are invited to return to the Sanctuary to share a hymn and a time of prayer before we depart for the day. There will be no evening service tonight.

Saturday, June 1, 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.: Men’s Spiritual Fitness Group meets in the Fellowship Hall.

Saturday, June 1, 1:00 p.m.: Evangelism Outreach. Those who plan to participate will meet at the church to prepare to go to the surrounding neighborhoods. Please speak with Elder David Randall for more information.

Saturday, May 18: Lord willing, the Pilgrim League Baseball season will conclude with game time at 9:30 a.m. and a picnic/awards presentation to follow. All are invited to come to cheer the teams and to close out this season with them in celebration.

Wednesday, May 22, 7:30 p.m.—State of the Church meeting in the sanctuary (no 242 Groups that evening).

Sunday, May 26: Communion Service and Fellowship Lunch. We will also recognize our 2013 High school graduates on that day. We will close our day together after the prayer time which follows the meal, (no evening service). Please check your email inbox for meal/service

Welcome to our annual Missions Conference. We welcome ARBCA Coordinator, Pastor Gordon Taylor, as our guest speaker. We are pleased that his wife, Rayna, has been able to accompany him on this trip and is also with us today.

Tonight at 6:00 p.m., Pastor Taylor will close our day with a PowerPoint presentation highlighting ARBCA missionaries, including our own David Vaughn.

Monday, April 22: Pastor Rast and Elder Lee leave for Bremen, Indiana to attend the ARBCA General Assembly. The GA begins on Tuesday and ends on Friday, April 26. Elder David Randall will be available for pastoral needs during that week.

We welcome you to the Worship of our Triune God in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We desire to worship Him in spirit and truth, and to give Him all the glory due unto His name. May He give us a sense of His presence, filling us with awe and wonder, and granting us a spirit of rejoicing and humility.

Pastor Rast and Becky are away today. In Hank’s absence, Elder John Lee is leading us in Worship this morning, and Elder David Randall will be leading our evening Worship
service at 6:00 p.m.

Men’s Monthly Breakfast is scheduled for this Saturday morning, April 13, from 8-10 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Check your e-mail inbox for the link to sign up on-line.

Our Communion Service for this month is scheduled for April 21, with the fellowship meal and prayer time to follow. Meal/service assignments were sent out earlier this week via email. (There will not be an evening service on April 21).

The Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America (ARBCA) will hold its annual General Assembly in Bremen, IN from April 22 through April 25. Pastor Rast and Elder Lee plan to attend the Assembly.

Our Spring Missions & Evangelism conference is scheduled for Sunday, May 5, with ARBCA Coordinator, Gordon Taylor as our guest speaker.

Ladies (ages 8 and up): Please save the afternoon of Saturday, May 11, on your calendars for the annual Spring Friendship Tea. Watch for more details to come soon.

Welcome to our Resurrection Sunday Worship Service. In I Corinthians 15: 3-8, Paul writes: “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive,
though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.”

There will be no evening service tonight to allow for more personal family celebration on this special day.

We will resume our regular schedule next week with Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m., and Evening Worship at 6:00 p.m.

Pastor Rast and Becky will be away next Sunday. Please pray for them as they travel to visit with their two older children, Matthew and Megan.

Elders John Lee and David Randall will be leading our Worship services next Sunday in Pastor Rast’s absence. Please pray for them to find adequate and profitable time to prepare in the midst of their busy schedules.

PILGRIM LEAGUE OPENING DAY: SATURDAY,  March 30th, at the field across from Bob & Holly Adams’ home.  Opening Day festivities begin at 9:15 a.m. with the game following at 9:30 a.m. Please feel free to come cheer the kids on and join us for hot dogs after the game.

NEXT SUNDAY, MARCH 31, WE WILL CELEBRATE EASTER with Sunday school and morning Worship. There will be no evening service next week.

WELCOME TO OUR ANNUAL MARRIAGE AND FAMILY CONFERENCE.

PASTOR DONNY MARTIN IS OUR GUEST SPEAKER today.  We warmly welcome him and his wife, Jane.  Donny is pastor of Grace Baptist Church of Hartsville, Tennessee, and a long-time friend of Heritage Church.

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE GEORGIA ASSOCIATION OF CONFESSIONAL BAPTISTS begins this Thursday afternoon in Rincon, GA, at Ephesus Church which is pastored by Nick Kennicott.  Pastor Rast and Elder John Lee are attending this conference.  Pastor Rast is to speak to the attendees on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m..  His topic is “Redemption Applied”.  Other speakers for the GA are Pastor Christopher Sheffield, Pastor Kurt Smith, Pastor Joe Hester, and Clint Kelley.  All are speaking on an aspect of Redemption (Anticipated, Appointed, Accomplished, Applied, & Achieved).  Please pray for the attendees to be refreshed and encouraged in the Lord and by one another.

PASTORAL NEEDS WILL BE ATTENDED TO BY   elders: Dennis Andrews, Bryan Preston, and/or David Randall while Pastor Rast and Elder John Lee attend the GA.

PASTOR NICK KENNICOTT IS OUR GUEST PREACHER this morning.  He has been speaking to our Youth this weekend at their Retreat.  Pastor Nick has been at Ephesus Church in Rincon, GA since 2007, is married to Felicia and has two daughters, Eva and Abry (and another child on the way – Felicia is 8 weeks pregnant!). He is originally from Franktown, Colorado and has lived in the Savannah, Georgia area since 2003. Pastor Nick is a former US Army Airborne Ranger (1/75th Ranger Regiment) and combat veteran. He is a graduate of The Baptist College of Florida with a B.S. in Biblical Studies, and has completed MDiv work at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Masters of Classical Christian studies at Knox Theological Seminary. Pastor Nick is dedicated full-time to the work of the ministry at Ephesus Church.

TODAY IS THE DEADLINE FOR THE ANGEL TREE GIFTS for families ministered to by The Real Life Center in Tyrone. All gifts will be collected from the Fellowship Hall and will be taken to the center early this week.  Thank you for participating in this extension of Christ’s love to those in need around us.

PASTOR RAST & BECKY WILL BE ON VACATION next Sunday, November 25th & Elder John Lee will fill the pulpit for the Communion Service in his absence. Please pray for Hank and Becky as they vacate; and for John as he prepares to preach God’s Word to us.

THERE WILL BE NO EVENING SERVICE SUNDAY, November 25th.

THE ANNUAL HERITAGE LADIES’ CHRISTMAS TEA & COOKIE EXCHANGE will be held in the fellowship hall on Saturday, December 1st. Ladies, youth group and up, please look for sign up sheets and more information on the table in the foyer.

CHRISTMAS CHOIR PRACTICE FOR BOTH CHILDREN’S CHOIR AND FOR YOUNG LADIES’ CHORUS meets each week immediately following the morning worship service. CHRISTMAS CHOIR (YOUTH GROUP/ADULTS) meets for practice in the Sanctuary at 5 p.m. on Sundays.
